YouTube Terms of Service

By using StreamPulse, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

StreamPulse uses YouTube API Services to display live streaming content from YouTube. By using our service, you acknowledge and agree that you are also bound by YouTube's Terms of Service, which you can review here:

https://www.youtube.com/t/terms

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using StreamPulse ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StreamPulse is a live streaming discovery platform that aggregates and displays live streams from multiple platforms including YouTube, Twitch, Kick, and others. The Service helps users discover trending and popular live content across various categories.

3. YouTube API Services

StreamPulse uses YouTube API Services to access and display YouTube live streams. Your use of YouTube content through StreamPulse is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Service
  • Attempt to access any data or content not intended for you
  • Use any automated system or software to extract data from the Service for commercial purposes

5. Accounts

You can use most of StreamPulse without an account. Some features, such as shout-outs, stream tags, favourites, watch history, points and premium, need one.

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
  • Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
  • One account per person. Do not share your account or create accounts to get around a suspension or limit.
  • You are responsible for your login (including your Google or Apple sign-in) and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.

6. Your Content: Shout-outs and Tags

Shout-outs, stream tags and anything else you submit to StreamPulse ("Your Content") must follow Section 4 and the law. You must not post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading, spam, or that infringes someone else's rights.

You keep ownership of Your Content. By posting it you give StreamPulse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it within the service (including in the website and apps) for as long as it is posted. We may review, edit or remove Your Content at any time, for example if it breaks these Terms or we receive a report about it. Other users can report content they believe breaks these Terms.

7. Points and Badges

Points and badges are rewards for using StreamPulse. They have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and can only be used for the rewards we offer (for example premium time). We may change, adjust or reset points and badges, including where we believe they were earned through abuse or automation.

8. Premium Subscriptions

StreamPulse Premium is an optional paid subscription. The price and billing period are shown before you buy.

  • Where you buy matters. Subscriptions bought on our website are billed and managed through our payment provider (Stripe). Subscriptions bought in the iOS app are billed and managed by Apple, and those bought in the Android app by Google Play.
  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel a website subscription from your account or by contacting us. To cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription, use your Apple or Google account's subscription settings; we cannot cancel those for you. After you cancel, Premium normally continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Refunds. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refunded. Refund requests for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
  • We may change prices or Premium features with reasonable notice. A change will not apply to a period you have already paid for.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or end your account, or remove access to features, if you break these Terms, misuse the service, or if we are required to by law. We may also change or stop parts of StreamPulse at any time. If we end a paid subscription because of our own decision (not because of a breach), we will refund the unused part of the period you paid for on our website.

10. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from the account settings in the app or website. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, points and badges, watch history, favourites, stream tags, shout-outs and sign-in record, and cancels any subscription you bought through our website. This cannot be undone. A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play must be cancelled separately in your Apple or Google account. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by StreamPulse and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

All YouTube content, including but not limited to videos, channel names, and thumbnails, remain the property of their respective copyright holders and are subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.

12. Third-Party Links and Content

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (including YouTube, Twitch, Kick, and others) that are not owned or controlled by StreamPulse. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Streams, titles, thumbnails, names and other content shown on StreamPulse come from other platforms (such as YouTube, Twitch, Kick, SOOP, Picarto, TwitCasting, Owncast servers and X) and belong to those platforms and their creators. We do not control or endorse it, and some of it may be unsuitable for some audiences. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms. If you see content that breaks these Terms or the law, contact us at [email protected].

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

14. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall StreamPulse, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
